The most-liked Skyrim mask or helmet to 3D print is a Dragon Priest mask: Garyu's wooden mask has 1,034 likes on Printables and is CC0. If you want to wear one, Make It Lab's Dragon Priest mask is wearable and comes with a stand, and for a full helmet there's an iron helmet with a shorter neck guard that its designer wore to a medieval faire.

How we picked them. PropBuilds indexes 40 Skyrim helmet, mask and armor files, all on Printables. We re-read them live on October 1, 2026 and kept the masks and helmets, ranked by likes. Every note comes from the designer's own description.

Dragon Priest masks

Three good versions, for three different goals. Garyu's is the one for a wood finish: split into four parts for an Ender 3 V2 and printed sideways in wood-fill PLA so the layer lines vanish into the grain. Make It Lab modelled theirs to match the game rather than flattening the back, added holes for strings so you can wear it, and included a stand; the top is slanted so it can also hang on a wall. GizmoThrill's (Bill and Britt of Punished Props) is one file for a larger printer; their photos show a copy that was molded, cast in urethane and painted. For a costume, Citruspers printed the crown and jewel and glued them to a band of EVA foam.

Making a printed mask look like wood

Garyu's finish is worth copying: glue the parts with CA glue (a gel super glue is easier to control), sand with 180 grit until the big grain ridges are smooth (sanding sponges work on curves), brush one coat of wood stain along the grain, one side at a time, then one to three very light coats of clear sealer. Garyu printed at 0.2 mm layers.

Helmets you can wear

  • Iron helmet: DeSteiner redesigned the neck guard of the iron helmet from the Skyrim trailer to be less restrictive; you get the other parts from the original creator. DeSteiner printed it at 107.5% length and width, in PETG to avoid warping in sunlight, and wore it to a medieval faire.
  • Argonian: DragonArtist15's head has hidden hinges so the jaw moves. It's sized for an average adult head, made to be worn as a helmet (add padding), and there's a version without spikes.
  • Daedric and guard helmets: Jace1969's guard helmet and Daedric helmet are free, but the uploader asks you to check the sizing before printing.

Measure your head and check the scale with the calculator below before printing a full helmet.

Full armor sets

Jace1969 has also uploaded a Daedric armor suit and weapons (credited to Bethesda) and a Dwarven suit that still needs splitting up to print. They're projects for experienced builders. For metal armor, prime with filler and sandable primer, paint dark, and rub Rub n Buff Silver Leaf on the edges; a helmet padding kit makes any of these wearable for a full day. The finishing guide has the steps, and the Skyrim print library links every Skyrim file we track, swords and daggers included.

FAQ

Where can I get a Skyrim Dragon Priest mask 3D print file?

Printables has several free ones. The most-liked is Garyu's Dragon Priest wooden mask (1,034 likes), which is CC0. Make It Lab's version (560 likes) is wearable and comes with a stand.

Can you wear a 3D printed Dragon Priest mask?

Yes. Make It Lab designed its mask to be worn, with holes at the back for strings or bands, and Jace1969 has a wearable version too.

How do you make a 3D printed mask look like wood?

Garyu's method: print in wood-fill PLA, sideways so the layer lines blend into the grain, glue the parts with CA glue, sand with 180 grit until the large ridges are smooth, apply one coat of wood stain along the grain, then one to three light coats of clear sealer.

Is there a wearable Skyrim helmet to 3D print?

Yes. DeSteiner wore a printed iron helmet, with a shorter neck guard, to a medieval faire, and DragonArtist15's Argonian mask is made to be worn as a helmet. Jace1969's Daedric and guard helmets need their sizing checked first.
