Tarkov wipe
tracker.
Wondering when the next Tarkov wipe is? Short answer: traditional wipes are over. Escape from Tarkov 1.0 launched on November 15, 2025 and that release wipe was the last one - your PMC and stash are now permanent. Fresh-start fans get opt-in Seasons instead. Here's the live status.
There is no next wipe. Wipes ended with the 1.0 release (Nov 15, 2025). The next fresh-start event is Season 1: Kord Breach (patch 1.1.0), expected July 2026 - Battlestate has not announced the exact day yet. Seasons are opt-in and never touch your main character.
Opt-in seasonal character with fresh-economy modifiers. Minimum season length: 74 days (per BSG). We'll flip this card to a live countdown the moment BSG announces the start time.
Is there still a Tarkov wipe?
Not in the old sense. For eight years, Escape from Tarkov reset every player's stash, PMC level, traders, and hideout roughly twice a year. That era ended when 1.0 launched on November 15, 2025: the release wipe was the final one, and Battlestate Games made main-profile progress permanent in both PvP and PvE.
The fresh-start experience wipes used to provide now lives in Seasons: opt-in events where you create a separate seasonal character in a fresh economy with special modifiers, while your main PMC stays untouched. When a season ends, seasonal progress folds back into your account rather than being deleted.
Does a season wipe my main character?
No. This is the single biggest change from the wipe era. A season gives you a separate opt-in character; your main PMC, stash, hideout, and trader progress are never reset. If you skip a season entirely, nothing happens to your account.
What is Kord Breach?
Kord Breach is Season 1, arriving with patch 1.1.0. It's the first test of the seasonal system: a fresh seasonal economy with its own gameplay modifiers, running for a minimum of 74 days per Battlestate's published material. The "Blackout" pre-season event is bridging the gap until it starts.
When does Season 1 start?
Battlestate has said July 2026, and as of this page's last update they have not announced an exact day. Be careful with sites showing a precise start date - that's guesswork presented as fact. We update this page when BSG publishes the real date, and the alert list above gets one email when it happens.
Will there be more seasons?
Battlestate has signaled roughly two seasons per year, which would put Season 2 in a late-2026 window. Treat that as a roadmap estimate, not a commitment - nothing beyond Kord Breach has been locked in.

Across all 19 wipes from 2017 to 2025, the average gap was about 163 days - which is why the twice-a-year rhythm felt baked into the game. The seasonal system inherits that cadence without deleting anyone's stash.

Tarkov wipe questions, answered
When is the next Tarkov wipe?
There isn't one. Traditional wipes ended with the 1.0 release on November 15, 2025. The next fresh-start event is Season 1 "Kord Breach" (patch 1.1.0), expected July 2026 with no exact day announced yet. Seasons are opt-in and don't reset your main character.
Did Tarkov just wipe? Did I miss it?
No. The last wipe in Tarkov history happened on November 15, 2025, when 1.0 launched. Everything you've done on your main profile since then is permanent. If your gear is gone, that's Tarkov being Tarkov, not a wipe.
Does the new season delete my stash or PMC?
No. Seasons use a separate, opt-in seasonal character in a fresh economy. Your main PMC, stash, hideout, and trader reputation are untouched, whether you join the season or skip it.
How long does a Tarkov season last?
Battlestate's published material puts the minimum season length at 74 days. Kord Breach is the first season, so the real-world rhythm is still being established - roughly two seasons per year is the signaled target.
What was the average time between wipes?
About 163 days on average across the 19 wipes from 2017 through the final one in November 2025 - roughly two per year, which is the cadence the seasonal system is designed to continue.
What is the Blackout event?
Blackout is the pre-season event Battlestate is running between the 1.0 era and the start of Season 1: Kord Breach. It's the bridge content while the seasonal system spins up.
