Hoard Road
A free pixel-art idle adventure I make, alongside the PropBuilds kits. Your hero runs an endless road on their own, fighting monsters and picking up coins, while you choose the upgrades, jump for coins, beat the guardian at the end of each land and raise a pal that grows up as you travel.
No download and no sign-up to start. Works on a PC or a phone.
An idle game with a world to look at
- Choose the upgrades. The hero runs and fights on their own; you decide what gets stronger, and their armor and helmet change as you upgrade them.
- Three weapons. The Sword, the Bow and the Staff, each with its own level, perks, looks and Mastery. Swap freely outside a fight.
- Pals. One walks with you and grows up as you travel. Grown, the Dire Wolf and the Dragon carry you. The rest earn at camp or go on Expeditions.
- Prestige. When the road gets long, start a fresh run and bring back Stars for the Star Map, where power lasts.
- A little action. Delivery pelicans fly over with parcels, and a sinkhole now and then drops you into a cave with the Maw behind you. Outrun it for a choice of chests.
- Not a lonely road. Friends with daily gifts, parties, a weekly crew task (bots fill empty seats, marked as bots), a global challenge everyone shares, daily challenges and a weekly event.
While the game is closed your pals keep earning a share of their coins for a while (the cap grows as you play), and Expeditions keep running by the clock. A daily gift waits each day you come back, and a missed day loses nothing.
In a browser on a PC or a phone, right now. Sign in with Google or Discord and your save follows you between them. Coming to Steam, iPhone and Android, with no release date yet; the news page and the Discord are where that news will go up.
Free to play: the whole game can be played for free, and gems are earned by playing. On the web, signed-in players can buy gem packs and a monthly Hoard Pass. No loot boxes: nothing for sale is random.
