Welcome to PropBuilds. By accessing or using propbuilds.com (the "Site") or purchasing any product, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site or place an order.

1. About PropBuilds

PropBuilds is a one-person operation based in the United States that designs and sells fan-made DIY prop kits inspired by video games. Every kit is designed, 3D-printed, hand-packed, and shipped by me from my home workshop. "PropBuilds," "I," "me," and "my" refer to the same shop and operator throughout these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order on the Site. By submitting an order you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Products

PropBuilds sells decorative build kits intended for adults and older teens. The kits include small parts, are not toys, and are not intended for children under 14. Finished builds are display pieces only. They are not certified safe for use with food, electrical components, outdoor exposure, or any purpose beyond indoor display.

Photographs on the Site are representative. Minor variations in color, finish, or print artifacts may occur between batches and do not constitute a defect.

4. Fan-Made Disclaimer

PropBuilds kits are fan-made and are not licensed, endorsed, sponsored, or otherwise affiliated with Facepunch Studios or any other video game studio, publisher, or rights holder. References to in-game items are inspirational only. All third-party trademarks, logos, and characters remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Orders and Payment

All prices on the Site are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted. Payments are processed through Shopify Checkout, which supports major credit cards, Shop Pay, and other methods listed at checkout. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from PropBuilds.

I reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at my discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, restricted shipping destinations, or product unavailability. If I cancel your order after payment, you will receive a full refund.

6. Shipping

Kits are print-to-order. Most orders ship within 48 hours of payment confirmation. Domestic shipping inside the United States typically takes 3 to 5 business days after dispatch. International shipping times vary by destination and may take 7 to 21 days or longer depending on customs processing.

You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. PropBuilds is not responsible for delays, lost packages, customs duties, or additional carrier charges caused by incorrect addresses, customs holds, or carrier handling.

7. Damaged or Missing Parts (No Returns)

Because every kit is made to order, returns and refunds for change of mind, color preference, or assembly difficulty are not accepted. However, if a part arrives damaged, defective, or missing from your order, email me at contact@propbuilds.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo. I will mail a free replacement part at no cost to you.

8. Intellectual Property

All original designs, CAD files, photographs, copy, branding, and code on the Site are the property of PropBuilds and are protected by U.S. and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit any PropBuilds design, file, or asset without my prior written permission.

Your purchase of a kit grants you a non-transferable, personal-use license to assemble and display the finished product for non-commercial purposes. The purchase does not transfer copyright or any other intellectual property right in the design.

9. User Content

If you post a review, comment, photograph, or other content to the Site, send content to PropBuilds, or tag PropBuilds on social media, you grant PropBuilds a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and share that content for marketing, social, and operational purposes, with attribution where practical. You retain ownership of your content.

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, scan, or copy PropBuilds designs or Site content for commercial purposes
  • Use the Site or any product to infringe the intellectual property of any third party
  • Transmit malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the Site's operation
  • Misrepresent your identity or use the Site for fraudulent activity
  • Resell, redistribute, or pass off PropBuilds kits or replicas of PropBuilds designs as your own original work

11. Disclaimers

The Site and all products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PropBuilds does not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PropBuilds is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Site or any PropBuilds product. PropBuilds's total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the purchase price of that product.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold PropBuilds harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or any product, or your violation of any third-party right.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes how PropBuilds collects, uses, and stores personal information. By using the Site, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

15. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to third-party services such as social media platforms, payment processors, or shipping carriers. PropBuilds is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your interaction with any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policies.

16. Changes to the Terms

I may update these Terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms last changed. Continued use of the Site, or any new order placed after an update, constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which PropBuilds operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, both parties agree to attempt non-binding mediation before pursuing other legal remedies.
