When is the next Rust Console wipe?
Thursday, September 24, 2026 is the next monthly wipe. Rust Console Edition runs two schedules at once, which is where most of the confusion comes from:
- Weekly servers wipe every Thursday at 2 PM US Eastern.
- Monthly servers wipe on the last Thursday of the month, at the same time of day.
Double Eleven publish the monthly clock as 11am PST, 2pm EST and 7pm BST, and state it applies regardless of the server region you play on. Source: Double Eleven's wipe FAQ. That FAQ describes the weekly-wipe servers without publishing a separate weekly calendar for them, so the every-Thursday weekly cadence here is the observed schedule those servers run, not a quoted publisher commitment. The monthly last-Thursday rule is the one Double Eleven state outright, and their own patch releases have landed on it four months running.

Console does not use the same day as PC
This trips people up constantly. PC force wipes on the FIRST Thursday of the month. Console monthly servers wipe on the LAST Thursday. They are different dates in the same month, and searching for one will happily give you the other. Across the next six months the two land between 21 and 28 days apart and never on the same day, so a PC wipe date is never a safe stand-in for a Console one. Is the next Console wipe a blueprint wipe?
Probably not, and there is no fixed blueprint schedule on Console. Double Eleven's stated policy is that they will avoid wiping blueprints as much as possible, and will only do it when it is needed. So unlike the monthly map wipe, a Console BP wipe is an announced event rather than a date you can count down to. They have also talked about running separate "blueprint always wipe" servers for players who want a clean slate monthly.
If you see a site confidently listing a monthly Console blueprint wipe date, treat it with suspicion. Check the official Rust Console news feed before planning around it.
What actually resets on a Console wipe?
A map wipe regenerates the world and clears bases, deployables, loot and sleepers. Your learned blueprints survive it. A blueprint wipe additionally resets what you have researched, so everyone starts from stone tools again. Community servers set their own schedules and are not bound to any of the above.
