The Ironclad Democracy Warbond is the new Premium Warbond for Helldivers 2, and Arrowhead Game Studios has set its release for Tuesday, September 22, 2026. It adds three weapons (the AR-11 Arbitrator and GL-15 Evictor primaries and the P-34 Breacher sidearm), two grenades, a light and a heavy armor set that share a new passive called Blunt-Force Mitigation, two capes, two boosters, an emote, a player title, and three patterns for the tank, which Arrowhead calls a Premium Warbond first.
The short version. Ironclad Democracy is a Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond with a release date of September 22, 2026. Its headline pieces are the AR-11 Arbitrator, an assault rifle with an underslung shotgun, and the BFM-220 Ironclad heavy armor. The armor passive, Blunt-Force Mitigation, cuts damage from impacts and collisions by 30 percent and makes a Helldiver harder to knock off their feet. It is also the first Premium Warbond with patterns for the tank. Arrowhead notes that it needs the base game, Super Credits and game progression to unlock.
Every item name and description here comes from Arrowhead's own announcement, published on the PlayStation Blog and on Steam on September 15, 2026. That announcement gives the date but not a release hour or a Super Credit price, so we do not quote either.

The weapons: a rifle with a shotgun under it, a pump grenade launcher and a missile pistol
The AR-11 Arbitrator is the headline gun. Arrowhead describes an assault rifle whose electrical firing mechanism puts out caseless rounds in rapid succession, with an underslung shotgun for the moment something gets too close. Two weapons in one primary slot is the whole pitch.

The GL-15 Evictor is a pump-action grenade launcher. It gives up precision for area damage, and because you reload it by hand one round at a time, Arrowhead frames it as a methodical choice for squads rather than a panic button.
The P-34 Breacher goes in the secondary slot. It is a missile pistol whose projectiles stick to the target, burn through armor on phosphorus fuel, and then explode.
The two grenades are just as far apart. The G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker is a small drone that tracks you, then homes in on a nearby enemy and detonates on impact, with a payload meant for armored vehicles. The G-8 Immolation drops the explosion entirely and leaves a spread of fire instead.
The armor: Tanker, Ironclad and a passive for people who keep getting knocked over
Both suits carry the BFM prefix and the same passive. The BFM-16 Tanker is the light set, styled after the armored cavalry of the First Galactic War, with acoustic dampeners built in. The BFM-220 Ironclad is the heavy set, forged from surplus hull plating, with a servo-bracing system and a towering blast-shield collar.
Blunt-Force Mitigation, the passive on both suits, makes a Helldiver more resistant to being knocked off their feet, cuts damage from impacts and collisions by 30 percent, and raises the armor rating. If most of your deaths start with an explosion throwing you across the map, this is the set aimed at you.
A Premium Warbond first: patterns for the tank
Ironclad Democracy includes three exclusive tank patterns, Verdant camouflage, Glacial polymer and Executive onyx. They sit at the bottom of Arrowhead's list, and Arrowhead calls them a Premium Warbond first.
The rest of the warbond leans into the same theme. The Standard of Rapid Evacuation cape is cut short so it will not tangle in a vehicle's treads, the title is Treadhead, and the Surplus EAT Allocation booster hands out two free uses of the Expendable Anti-Tank stratagem per mission, which Arrowhead says is enough for a full squad to carry one single-use launcher each. The Shroud of The Juggernaut is the odd one out: a woodland camouflage cape that, according to Arrowhead, hides a morale-boosting message in Morse code.

This one is a whole Helldiver rather than a helmet. McFarlane's Elite Edition figure has up to 22 points of articulation and a wired soft-goods cape, and seven weapons come in the box: Torcher, Liberator, Senator, Railgun, Stun Baton, Saber and a machine gun, plus alternate hands and a display base. A posable figure with a real fabric cape is as close as a shelf gets to the Standard of Rapid Evacuation.
