MEGA, the Mattel building-set brand that used to be called Mega Bloks, has been making Halo sets for well over a decade. The big ones are genuine adult display pieces. A 2,024-piece Pelican is not a toy you hide in a closet.
With Halo: Campaign Evolved out now, a lot of people are looking at Halo shelf pieces for the first time in years. So we re-checked every MEGA Halo vehicle set we track, one listing at a time. The short version: the prices you will find quoted in older guides are wrong almost across the board, and four of the sets people still recommend are no longer buyable at all.
What we found when we checked all 14
Of the 14 MEGA and Mega Bloks Halo sets we track:
- 8 are in stock with a normal Amazon buy box.
- 2 have no buy box left and are only available through third-party sellers, at whatever those sellers ask.
- 4 are discontinued, showing "currently unavailable" with no restock date.
Not one of the prices matched what this guide originally said. Some moved up hard (the Wasp Onslaught went from around $60 to $89.99), some dropped a long way (the Warthog fell to $47.99), and the flagship Pelican is now well above where mid-size guides usually place it.
The flagship vehicles
MEGA Halo Pelican Inbound, 2,024 pieces, $424.99
The UNSC dropship as it appears in Halo Infinite, and the biggest MEGA Halo build we track at 2,024 pieces. Poseable wings, a cockpit hatch, working landing gear, and a hidden interior that opens up. It is a 2-in-1: build the Pelican, or use the same box to build a UNSC compound with a fortification barrier, forklift, and rocket. Three micro figures come with it, Master Chief, the Pilot, and a Hunter, each with 12 points of articulation and display stands.
Worth being blunt about the price. At $424.99 with a single unit showing on the day we checked, you are paying a scarcity premium rather than a shelf price. If you want this one and you are not in a hurry, it is worth watching rather than buying on sight.
MEGA Halo Banished Phantom, 1,214 pieces, $179.99
The Covenant answer to the Pelican, in Banished colors. The thick metal plating folds outward to expose the cockpit and interior, and the turret fires. Also a 2-in-1, with a Banished combat walker as the alternate build. Four figures: Spartan Griffin, Jega 'Rdomnai, a Brute Captain, and an Escharum hologram. Rated 10 and up rather than 8 and up, which tracks with the build.
This is the best big-set value on the list right now. It is the second-largest build we track and it currently costs well under half of what the Pelican does.
MEGA Halo UNSC Scorpion Clash, 993 pieces, third-party sellers only

The UNSC main battle tank, with rolling treads you build yourself, a turret that recoils by crank, and a defense post with a firing turret. Five figures: Spartan Stone, a UNSC Marine, an Elite Warlord, and two Banished Hunters. The alternate build splits it into an aircraft and a smaller tank.
The catch: Amazon no longer has a buy box for it. It is listed, but only through third-party sellers, so the price depends entirely on who is selling that week. We are not quoting a number because there is not a stable one to quote. Older guides that list this at $150 are quoting a price that no longer exists.
The Halo TV series wave
These are the FLEETCOM sets, modeled on the vehicles as they appear in the Halo television series rather than the games. Smaller and faster to build, and currently the best value on the whole list.

The Warthog at $47.99 is the pick of the entire guide. It carries five figures on its own, including Master Chief, Cortana, and Spartans KAI-125, Riz-029, and Vannak-134, and it has an extendable cargo rack, shock-absorbing suspension, and a rear turret that pivots and seats a figure. Five figures in one box is figure-density you otherwise have to buy a dedicated character pack to get, and it was the only set on the list showing plain "In Stock" rather than a low-stock warning.
The Renegade Banshee gives you a working cockpit door plus Soren-006 and an Elite Minor for $20.99. The Mongoose is 79 pieces and one UNSC Marine, which makes it a shelf-filler rather than a centerpiece, but at $18.95 it is a reasonable way to round out a diorama.
The Halo Infinite mid-tier
MEGA Halo UNSC Wasp Onslaught, 406 pieces, $89.99
Dual spinning engines, a figure cockpit, and a 360-degree Shade Turret with energy shields. Four figures: Master Chief, a UNSC Marine, a Hunter, and a Grunt Conscript. The 2-in-1 alternate build gives you two rival light aircraft instead.
Fair warning on value. At $89.99 for 406 pieces, this is now the weakest price-per-piece on the list, and it costs nearly twice what the 469-piece Warthog does. It is a good set. It is not a good deal at the price we saw.
MEGA Halo Arctic Burn Wasp, 342 pieces, $36.51
The same Wasp airframe in an arctic camouflage scheme from Halo Infinite multiplayer, with dual spinning engines and a cockpit door that opens. Two figures, plus an energy station built from modular pieces that connect to other Halo modular sets.
If you want a Wasp on your shelf, this is the one to buy. It is the same aircraft for roughly 40% of the Onslaught's price. You lose two figures and the Shade Turret in the trade.
Dioramas and figures
MEGA Halo Forerunner Ring Installation, 301 pieces, $34.89
A micro-scale slice of the ring, roughly 5 by 5 by 5 inches assembled, with trees, a river, mountain terrain, and Forerunner architecture. It comes with no figures, which is the point: it is a backdrop. Put a Spartan or two in front of it and it does more display work than its size suggests.
MEGA Halo 20th Anniversary Character Pack, 352 pieces, 20 figures, third-party sellers only

Twenty micro figures spanning the franchise, including Atriox, Spartan Locke, Cortana, Master Chief, the Arbiter, Sergeant Johnson, and Miranda Keyes, all with 12 points of articulation, display stands, and a bonus accessory armory.
This used to be the easy recommendation for populating a display in one purchase. It has lost its Amazon buy box and is now third-party only, so we cannot quote a reliable price and we no longer put it in the starter list below. If you find it near its old price, it is still the best figure-density buy in the range.
No longer available
These four are still listed on Amazon and still turn up in older guides, but every one of them now shows "currently unavailable" with no restock expected. We checked each individually rather than assuming:
- MEGA Halo Arbiter's Quest Banshee, the Halo Infinite construction set
- Mega Bloks Halo UNSC Pelican Dropship, the original legacy Pelican
- Mega Bloks Halo UNSC Elephant, the mobile command center
- Mega Bloks Halo Covenant Wraith Ambush
If you want any of these, Amazon is not the route. They turn up on the secondhand market, and the legacy Mega Bloks sets in particular are collector items now rather than shelf purchases.
How to start a Halo MEGA collection
With the character pack off the table, the sensible three-set start looks different from what it did a year ago. Everything here is in stock as of July 30, 2026:
- FLEETCOM Warthog ATV, $47.99. The iconic ground vehicle, and it brings five figures with it.
- Arctic Burn Wasp, $36.51. An aircraft to balance the ground unit, at the sane Wasp price.
- Forerunner Ring Installation, $34.89. A backdrop so the vehicles read as a scene instead of a row.
That is $119.39 for two vehicles, a terrain piece, and seven figures. Add the Banished Phantom later as the centerpiece if the shelf earns it.
Best for each budget
The Warthog at $47.99 is the best overall value, on piece count and figures together. If you want one large centerpiece and nothing else, the Banished Phantom at $179.99 gives you 1,214 pieces for well under half what the Pelican asks. The Mongoose at $18.95 is the cheapest way to add another vehicle, and the Forerunner Ring at $34.89 is the only thing here that works as a backdrop.
Two to skip at current pricing: the Wasp Onslaught at $89.99, which costs nearly twice the Warthog for fewer pieces, and the Pelican at $424.99. Both may come back down. Neither is priced like the rest of the range right now.
