Below is what you can buy, which pieces are officially licensed, and what to print for the ones nobody sells.
The short version. As of September 9, 2026, the Halo weapon replicas you can buy on Amazon are five energy swords (a 25 inch and a chrome 25 inch from Disguise, a 30 inch Disguise light-up, a 20 inch light-and-sound sword from the HALO store, and a stainless steel 26.7 inch display piece), four Munetoshi foam replicas covering the BR55 battle rifle, the MA5D assault rifle, the M6H magnum and a 16.5 inch Covenant energy rifle, two Disguise Covenant costume weapons, and a foam M6C magnum from LALAPORT. Disguise states officially licensed in its own listing text. Munetoshi and LALAPORT do not, and Munetoshi's listings never use the Halo name at all. Energy swords: the one Halo weapon with real choice
Every other Halo weapon here has exactly one live option. The sword has five, and they differ more than the thumbnails suggest.
- Disguise Halo Energy Sword. The plain one. Disguise's listing calls it 100 percent PVC plastic, states OFFICIALLY LICENSED in its own bullet text, and gives it as 25 inches long and 11 inches wide. It has no lights and no sound, and it is the cheapest way to get the shape on a wall.
- Disguise Halo Chrome Energy Sword. Same 25 inch length, shiny finish, also stated as officially licensed. The material line reads 100 percent polyester, which is Amazon's field rather than a description of the blade, so treat it as a costume accessory and not a display piece.
- Disguise Halo Energy Deluxe Light Up Sword. The biggest of the three Disguise swords at 30 inches, and the only one that lights.
- Halo Roleplay Energy Sword. Sold under Amazon's HALO store byline. Its bullets promise 20 inches, pulsing light sequences and Halo sound effects, which makes it the most feature-complete of the five. One caution: when we loaded the page on September 9, 2026 it read "Only 1 left in stock", so this one may well be gone by the time you read it.
- Stainless steel Energy Sword, 26.7 in. Its own bullets give 26.7 inches, 2.2 pounds and high quality stainless steel with an electroplated finish. It states no licence, and at that weight it belongs on a wall or a stand rather than in your hand on a convention floor.
If you want one sword that does the most for the money, the roleplay sword with light and sound is the pick while it lasts. If you want something that will still look right in five years, the steel one is the only piece here that is not plastic or foam.
UNSC rifles and pistols: the foam route
Every buyable UNSC weapon replica we found is foam, and four of the five come from Munetoshi, whose listings give real dimensions and weights rather than marketing copy.
- Munetoshi 35 in foam BR55 battle rifle. The listing gives an overall length of 35 inches, a 25 inch barrel, a 5 inch handle and a weight of 2 pounds. It is the largest Halo weapon replica currently purchasable and the closest thing to a full-size UNSC rifle on the shelf.
- Munetoshi 31.5 in foam MA5D assault rifle. Listed at 31.5 inches, 8.5 inches high, 1.75 inches thick and 1.65 pounds. Munetoshi notes the orange tip, which is the detail that gets a prop through a convention door.
- Munetoshi 10.5 in foam M6H magnum. Listed at 10.5 inches, 7 inches high, 1.25 inches thick and half a pound, with an orange tipped barrel. The sidearm to pair with either rifle.
- LALAPORT 12.5 in foam M6C magnum. Sold under the LALAPORT byline, not Munetoshi, despite looking like part of the same family. Its bullets describe high density foam and game-accurate paintwork.
Foam works for cosplay and disappoints on a display shelf. It dents, and it picks up fingerprints along every painted edge. If the piece is going to sit under a light and be looked at, print one and finish it properly instead.
Covenant weapons beyond the sword
Two Covenant pieces are live from Disguise, plus one foam piece from Munetoshi.
- Disguise Halo Plasma Rifle. The listing names Halo (MICROSOFT), states officially licensed, and gives the size as 13 by 8 inches, which is small: this is a costume accessory scaled to a child, not a screen-accurate rifle.
- Halo Plasma Blaster. The plasma pistol, sold under the Disguise store byline.
- Munetoshi 16.5 in foam Covenant energy rifle. Listed at 16.5 inches and 1.15 pounds, with a weathered finish and a yellow battery detail called out in the bullets.
The famous ones that are not for sale right now
This is the part most Halo replica guides get wrong, because they were written once and never rechecked. We read every one of these listings twice on September 9, 2026, several minutes apart. All five returned Currently unavailable, with no add-to-cart button and no buy-now button on either read.
- NECA Halo Limited Edition Needler Replica. The one people actually want. Currently unavailable.
- Nerf LMTD Halo Needler dart-firing blaster. The light-up Needler with the rotating dart drum. Currently unavailable.

We moved all five out of in-stock in our own catalog today rather than leave them sitting there looking buyable. That is why the Halo catalog now reads 59 in stock where it read 64 this morning.
Licensed or not, and why the listings read the way they do
Disguise says the word outright. Its listings put OFFICIALLY LICENSED in the bullet text and name Halo (MICROSOFT) directly. Disguise is a costume company, so its pieces are built to costume tolerances and priced accordingly, but the licence is stated on the listing itself.
Munetoshi never says Halo at all. Look closely at the titles: "Foam BR55 Chief Replica Sci-fi Video Game Cosplay Prop", "Foam MA5D Chief Assault Rifle Replica". The weapon designations are there, the word Halo is not, and no licence is claimed anywhere in the listing. That is the usual shape of an unlicensed replica sold on model designations rather than on the franchise name. The props themselves are well made and honestly specified, with real dimensions where most sellers give you a stock photo. Just know which one you are buying.
Neither approach is a warning sign by itself. It does mean that if an officially licensed piece matters to you, only the Disguise items and the sword sold under the HALO store byline qualify from this list.
What to print instead
This next comparison needs both halves of a catalog to compute, which is why it rarely gets made. PropBuilds tracks 439 approved Halo print files and 68 buyable Halo listings. 104 of those print files are weapons. Twelve Halo weapon replicas were purchasable on Amazon today. That works out to roughly nine printable Halo weapons for every one you can buy, and the gap is lopsided rather than even: the Needler, the sniper rifle, the gravity hammer and the rocket launcher have no live commercial replica at all, and plenty of print files.
Of the 439 files, 43 are free to download and 69 are paid. Browse them on the Halo print library, which is sorted by source and category, or start with the weapon category if you already know what you want on the shelf.
The trade is real in both directions. A printed BR55 costs you filament, a week of evenings and more sanding than anyone admits, and it ends up better than any foam replica on this page. A bought one turns up on Tuesday and you get your evenings back. Which one is right depends entirely on whether you want the object or the project. The only bad version is not knowing the print route exists, and that is where most Halo replica lists leave you.
