Almost every Escape from Tarkov prop worth owning can be printed for free. We checked fifteen Tarkov files on August 19, 2026 and every one of them downloads at no cost, including the LEDX, the Killa helmet, both Labs keycards, the gamma container and the Death Shadow mask. Only a few Tarkov props are worth buying finished instead: the cultist knife at 98 dollars, the VOG grenade at 48 dollars, and the boss figurines of Killa, Tagilla and Reshala.
The short version. We verified fifteen Escape from Tarkov models on Printables as free on August 19, 2026, with 5,934 downloads between them, and four more on MakerWorld are listed as free 3D print models with another 3,377 downloads. The most downloaded of them is Erik's LEDX at 2,106 downloads. On the buy side, Blasters4Masters had the cultist knife in stock at 98.00 dollars and the VOG grenade at 48.00 dollars on the same day, and Amazon carries the TerraGroup Labs red card sets plus figurines of Killa, Tagilla and Reshala. PropBuilds tracks 120 Tarkov print files and 12 buyable Tarkov props, and only five props exist on both sides: the Labs keycard, the Killa helmet, the Killa figurine, the Tagilla figurine and the VOG grenade. Everything else is one route or the other, which is why the choice is usually made for you.
Files get pulled and stock moves. Every figure here is what the platform's own page or API returned on August 19, 2026. The full set of what we track lives on our Tarkov print library and Tarkov props catalog.

The Tarkov files verified free on August 19, 2026
These fifteen were read from the Printables API on August 19, 2026. All fifteen returned a null price, which is how that platform records a free model, and the download counts are the platform's own. They are the closest thing to a popularity ranking these files have.
Loot you can hold
- LEDX, 2,106 downloads, by Erik. The most downloaded Tarkov file in this set by a factor of two, which tracks with it being the item everyone in the game wants to find. Get the LEDX file
- Labs red keycard, 284 downloads, by 1994df. Flat, fast and the single most recognizable object in the game. Get the red keycard file
- Labs green keycard, 115 downloads, by 1994df. The same maker's green card, if you want the pair. Get the green keycard file
- Gamma container, 162 downloads, by Glen Faught. The thing you actually mourn when you die. Get the gamma container file
- Medicine case, 255 downloads, by Filip Ryba. A big flat box, which makes it one of the easier large prints here. Get the medcase file
- Moonshine, 93 downloads, by Abdoel. The hideout crafting joke that pays for itself as a shelf piece. Get the moonshine file
- MS2000 marker, 166 downloads, by Abdoel. Small, and the blinking light is easy to fake with a coin cell. Get the MS2000 file
Masks and helmets
- Multi Color Killa helmet, 999 downloads, by bossgun5050. The most downloaded wearable in this set, and the file is free, so if you already own a printer this is the cheap route to a Killa helmet. There is a finished costume replica on Amazon as well, linked further down. Get the Killa helmet file
- Death Shadow mask, 637 downloads, by feedle. Also on MakerWorld, where a second version has 868 downloads. Get the Death Shadow file
- Head, Eyes, 318 downloads, by Emin3X. The killcam text as a physical object, which is funnier than it has any right to be. Get the Head, Eyes file
Desk and wall pieces
- LABS LED wall sign, 327 downloads, by TestoMane. Built for a light strip behind it. Get the LABS sign file
- Prokill medallion, 119 downloads, by Borry. Get the prokill medallion file
- Kiba Arms tactical tomahawk, 199 downloads, by TomasTheTank. The closest printable thing to the melee weapons people ask about. Get the tomahawk file
- PMC dogtag, 8 downloads, by Honz1cek_09_3D. Least downloaded file on this page by a wide margin, published in August 2025, and none of that makes it a bad print. Get the dogtag file
- VOG grenade, 146 downloads, by Erik. The one file on this page with a finished counterpart you can buy, so it gets its own comparison below. Get the VOG grenade file
Four more on MakerWorld
All four were fetched on August 19, 2026 and all four are listed as free 3D print models.
- Red keycard, 1,202 downloads. More downloads than either Printables keycard, so if you only print one card, print this one. View on MakerWorld
- Killa figurine, 859 downloads. View on MakerWorld
- Killa figurine, second version, 448 downloads. View on MakerWorld
- Death Shadow mask, 868 downloads. View on MakerWorld
Our Tarkov print library indexes 120 Tarkov files in total, including 75 hosted on Cults3D. We are not quoting anything about those here, because Cults3D is currently blocking our automated checks and we do not publish numbers we could not verify the same day.
The props worth buying finished
Five of the twelve buyable Tarkov props we track also exist as print files. The other seven are the interesting ones, because for those the decision is made for you.
Cultist knife, 98.00 dollars
In stock at Blasters4Masters on August 19, 2026, and there is no cultist knife file in our print library at all. A blade shape is also the least rewarding thing to print: layer lines run the wrong way for an edge, and a printed blade wants sanding and filler before it photographs like the real thing. See the cultist knife
VOG grenade, 48.00 dollars, or free
This is the only true head to head on the page. Blasters4Masters had the finished VOG grenade in stock at 48.00 dollars on August 19, 2026, and Erik's file has been downloaded 146 times and costs nothing. The finished one arrives painted and weighted. The printed one costs you an evening and whatever your filament costs, and it will look like a grenade from two feet away and like a print from six inches. See the finished VOG grenade
Boss figurines: Killa, Tagilla and Reshala
Amazon carries collectible figurines of all three bosses. Printed figurines at this size need either a resin printer or a lot of patience with supports, and they still need painting, which is the part most people underestimate. If you want a boss on the shelf this week rather than next month, buy it.
Killa helmet replica
A helmet is the one wearable where buying earns its keep. A printed helmet comes off the bed in pieces that need gluing, filling, sanding, paint and then padding and a strap before you can wear it for more than a photo, and getting the fit right on your own head is its own project. The finished costume replica skips all of that. Print the file if the helmet is going on a shelf, buy the replica if it is going on your head.
Keycard sets
Printed keycards are flat plastic in one color unless you swap filament mid print. The bought sets come printed with the card art, which is the whole point of a keycard, and they arrive as a set rather than one card at a time.
The rest of what we track on the buy side, including apparel and wall art, sits on the Tarkov props catalog.
How to choose, in one rule
Print the loot, buy the people. Loot items are flat, chunky, single color objects that a cheap printer handles well and that look right straight off the bed with light sanding. Characters and blades are the opposite: they need resin, supports, paint skill and time, and a finished piece usually beats what a first attempt produces. The one thing worth saying plainly is that a printer costs more than any single prop on this page, so if you do not already own one, the free files are not actually free.
If you want the same comparison for a different game, we did this for the Rust AK too: Rust AK prop, print it or buy it.
Common questions
Can you 3D print Escape from Tarkov props?
Yes, and most of the recognizable ones are free. On August 19, 2026 we verified 15 Tarkov models on Printables and 4 on MakerWorld that download at no cost, covering the LEDX, both Labs keycards, the Killa helmet, the gamma container, the medicine case, the Death Shadow mask and more. They are fan made files hosted by their creators on those platforms.
Are Escape from Tarkov 3D print files free?
The great majority of them are. All 15 of the Printables files in this guide returned a null price from the Printables API on August 19, 2026, which is how that platform records a free model, and the 4 MakerWorld files are all listed as free 3D print models. Paid Tarkov files do exist on other platforms, so check the listing before you assume.
Which Tarkov props are worth buying instead of printing?
Blades, painted characters and anything that needs printed artwork. The cultist knife has no file in our library at all and was 98.00 dollars finished on August 19, 2026, the boss figurines need resin and paint skill to beat what you can buy, and keycard sets arrive with the card art already printed on them.
What is the easiest Tarkov prop to print first?
A keycard. It is flat, it is small, it finishes in well under an hour on most printers, and it is the most recognizable object in the game. The Printables red card and the MakerWorld red keycard are both free, and the MakerWorld one has 1,202 downloads.
Where can you buy Escape from Tarkov props?
Blasters4Masters for finished melee and grenade props, and Amazon for figurines, keycard sets and apparel. On August 19, 2026 Blasters4Masters had the cultist knife at 98.00 dollars and the VOG grenade at 48.00 dollars in stock. Our Tarkov props catalog lists everything we track in one place.
