Best Rust Desk Mats in 2026: Licensed Epic Desk Picks

Aug 31, 2026 · 4 MIN READ

The best Rust desk mats in 2026 come from Epic Desk, the store whose Rust listings describe them as "officially licensed and developed in partnership with Facepunch Studios". As of August 31, 2026 there are 25 Rust designs in stock, priced between $39.95 and $59.95, and the code PROPBUILDS takes 10% off at checkout. We put one in a cart today to check: a $49.95 mat dropped to $44.96.

Epic Desk sells the only desk mats we track that carry official Rust licensing wording. Prices run $39.95 to $59.95. The lineup splits three ways: official scene mats built on the game's monuments and art, creator collaborations with Rust YouTubers like Blooprint and Beastmode, and skin-style collab designs. Most are labeled limited edition, and of the 117 Epic Desk Rust designs PropBuilds tracks, only 25 were in stock on August 31, 2026. The PROPBUILDS code gives 10% off.

Why Epic Desk is the one store on this list

We track Rust props and merch from more than a dozen sellers, and desk mats are the one category where a single store holds the licensed ground. Epic Desk's Rust listings state, in their own words, that the mats are "officially licensed and developed in partnership with Facepunch Studios". The catch is scarcity: most designs are tagged limited edition, and sold-out runs pile up fast. Our catalog holds 117 Epic Desk Rust designs and only 25 of them were buyable when we checked on August 31, 2026. If a design you want is in stock, that is not a permanent state.

One note: Epic Desk's listings currently carry a shipping notice for European customers saying inventory is in production with an ETA of early to mid October. The notice does not mention US orders.

The official scene mats

These are the mats built straight from the game's own places and imagery.

  • "Welcome to Rust" ($59.95). The flagship of the current lineup and the only mat above the standard price. A hazmat-suited figure under oversized Rust branding in red and black. If you want the mat that reads "Rust" from across the room, this is it.
  • "Oil Rig" II ($49.95). The monument every wipe fights over, rendered in the industrial, weathered style the listing promises. A strong pick if your group's whole identity is rig takes.
  • "Minicopter Joyride" ($49.95). A scrap-built minicopter tearing over explosions and smoke. If that vehicle means something to you, we also sell a DIY Minicopter build kit that pairs well with it on the same desk.
  • "Labs Breach" ($49.95) and "Night Patrol" ($49.95). Two moodier picks, one underwater lab raid and one night-vision patrol, for setups that lean dark.

The creator collaborations

Epic Desk's other lane is mats made with Rust content creators, and most of these carry a limited edition tag on the listing.

  • Blooprint "Solo's Journey" ($49.95). Made with Blooprint, one of the biggest solo players on YouTube, and the only current design offered in three colorways (black, navy, white). There is also a smaller playmat version at $39.95, the cheapest way into the lineup.
  • Beastmode "Rust After Glory" ($49.95). A sunlit, hand-painted-style coastal scene made with the Rust YouTuber Beastmode. The warmest looking mat in the set, if most Rust art is too grim for your desk.

How to actually buy one

Every link in this post routes through the PROPBUILDS discount, which we verified today: 10% off at checkout, no minimum. The full in-stock lineup lives on our Rust desk mats page, and the rest of the buyable Rust catalog, replicas, LED signs and all, is on the Rust props page. If you are setting up a desk for wipe day specifically, our wipe day survival guide covers the rest of the battlestation.

Common questions

Are Epic Desk's Rust desk mats officially licensed?

Epic Desk's own listings say the Rust mats are "officially licensed and developed in partnership with Facepunch Studios". That wording appears on the product pages themselves, which is the strongest form of the claim available.

How much does a Rust desk mat cost?

As of August 31, 2026: $39.95 for the Blooprint playmat, $49.95 for almost every full-size deskmat, and $59.95 for "Welcome to Rust". The PROPBUILDS code takes 10% off any of them at checkout.

Does the PROPBUILDS discount code actually work?

Yes. We tested it today, August 31, 2026, by putting a $49.95 mat in a cart: the total dropped to $44.96 with the code applied automatically through our links.

Do sold-out Epic Desk Rust mats come back in stock?

Usually not. Many designs are tagged limited edition, and of the 117 Epic Desk Rust designs we track, only 25 were in stock on August 31, 2026. The sold-out ones have mostly stayed sold out.
