Weapons for cosplay
- Leviathan Axe: Oddworks' is a 1:1 replica, hollowed so you can print it in transparent PLA and add an LED kit. SlurpeeMachine split the axe head pieces in half so they print flat with no supports, then glue together, and Speedy's remix adds pins and rods for stability, at the cost of the lights.
- Blades of Chaos: Kirby Downey's print in 7 parts around a 5 mm rod, with the cracks modeled in and very little support needed.
- Mjolnir: Micro Center's cosplay hammer prints in gray PLA with a wood PLA pommel; the head alone took 10 hours 28 minutes, and you should block supports inside its opening so the snap connector fits.
Glue sections with gel super glue, then filler and sandable primer hides the layer lines and seams before paint. The finishing guide covers the steps.
