The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gas mask is not one real mask. The series wiki says the mask most stalkers wear looks very similar to a Soviet EO-19 PBF respirator with its filters exposed, the Exoskeleton's is closer to the British S10, and Snorks wear a GP-5. The other two famous props, the artifact detector and the artifacts themselves, have no official replicas at all, so the realistic way to own them is to print free fan files, then buy the pieces nobody prints well: faction patches, figures and the art book.
In short: Stalkers wear a mix of Soviet-style masks, and the closest real match to the common one is the EO-19 PBF respirator. Detectors run from the basic Echo (it only beeps faster as you get closer) to the Veles, which shows artifacts on a screen, and the prototype Svarog. None of these props is sold as an official replica. The gas mask: what stalkers actually wear
Gas masks are the look of the series, but the games never copy one real mask exactly. Here is what the community wiki matches each one to.

The GP-5 is the mask you will find most easily. It was issued to Soviet civilians from 1962 and production ended in 1990, so a lot of them are still around. That age is the problem: Wikipedia reports that in 2013 a test found 7.5 percent asbestos in the cotton layer of a GP-5 filter. If you buy a real Soviet mask for a costume, leave the old filter off and never breathe through it.

The detectors: Echo, Bear, Hilka, Veles and Svarog
In Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, artifacts stay hidden until a detector finds them, which is why the detector is the other prop every S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan recognizes. Each model does the job differently.

The artifacts: Weird Ball, Compass and the rest
Artifacts are the loot of the Zone: strange objects formed in anomalies that you carry for their effects, often with a side effect such as radiation. In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 the Weird Ball comes from the Bulba anomaly near Zalissya and reduces incoming bullet damage while you stand still, and the Compass, found in gravitational anomalies, gives maximum physical protection. Artifacts make good desk pieces because they are small, need no moving parts, and look best with a glossy or translucent finish.
