October 23 in your local time. Bethesda puts it plainly on the official Fallout site: "Every October 23, we celebrate Fallout Day, the day Americans went underground into the vaults to survive the apocalypse." It is the one fixed date on the Fallout calendar, which makes it the deadline every wasteland build gets judged against.

Fallout has the friendliest prop shelf in gaming. Its objects are retro-futurist industrial design: thick panels, big rivets, chunky dials and hand-painted labels, all of it built to look scavenged. That is exactly what a home 3D printer does well, because layer lines and weathering read as wear instead of as mistakes. The scene splits neatly in two. On one end sit the flagship builds, a wearable T-60 suit or a Pip-Boy with a screen behind the window, measured in kilograms of filament and weeks of print time. Pip-Boys Pick your era first. The 3000 is Fallout 3 and New Vegas, the 3000 Mk IV is Fallout 4, the 2000 Mk VI is Fallout 76, and the TV series unit is sold as the 3000 Mk V. Display shells, wearable cuffs and electronics ready builds. Power armor & helmets T-45, T-51 and T-60, plus the advanced X-01. A full suit is a multi kilogram project, so most builders start with the helmet and add the rest one plate at a time. Nuka-Cola & caps Bottle caps are the cheapest print in the hobby: no supports, minutes each, and the embossed logo takes paint fill beautifully. Quantum is the glowing blue variant if you want a translucent resin version. Wasteland weapons The 10mm pistol, laser and plasma guns, the Alien Blaster and the mines. Long barrels want pinning to stop warping, and energy weapons look best with a clear rod or resin lens behind the glow. Where can I download Fallout STL files for 3D printing?
Fan made Fallout models live on maker platforms like Cults3D, MakerWorld, Printables and Thingiverse. This hub and the Fallout Print Library pull the best of them into one curated directory, and each card links straight to the source page where you download the file. Availability changes because some fan models get removed on request, so treat every link as fan made and subject to takedown.
Which Pip-Boy model should I print?
Match the game you care about. The Pip-Boy 3000 is the Fallout 3 and New Vegas unit, the 3000 Mk IV belongs to Fallout 4, and Fallout 76 uses the 2000 Mk VI with its exposed reel. The Prime Video series wrist unit is commonly called the 3000 Mk V, a name that comes from its official licensed replica rather than from anything said on screen. Display shells are the easy build. If you want a working screen, look for a model hollowed for a Raspberry Pi or a small microcontroller, and check the forearm clearance before you commit to a full size print.
What is the easiest Fallout thing to 3D print?
Nuka-Cola bottle caps. They are flat discs, need no supports, print in minutes, and the recessed logo is designed to take a paint fill or a second filament color. After that, try a fusion core or a holotape. A holotape is a great gift print because a real USB drive fits inside the shell. Save Vault Boy figures for a resin printer, since the face and the thumbs up hand are exactly the details that FDM smears at small scale.
Is it legal to 3D print Fallout props?
Fallout is owned by ZeniMax Media Inc. and its subsidiary Bethesda Softworks LLC, now part of Microsoft. Printing a model for your own personal use is generally tolerated in the maker community as tribute work, but selling unlicensed Fallout prints is very likely infringement. Individual creators also set their own file licenses, and many community models are share alike rather than free for commercial use, so read the terms on each source page. When is Fallout Day?
October 23. The official Fallout site describes it as the day "Americans went underground into the vaults to survive the apocalypse," the in universe date of the Great War in 2077. It is also the date Vault 76 opens on Reclamation Day in Fallout 76. Bethesda has used it for community broadcasts in past years, but what happens on any given October 23 is announced by Bethesda closer to the date, so check the official channels. For builders it works best as a self imposed deadline: pick a project, count the weeks back, and have it painted by the 23rd.
